Gah! Every time I try to edit, it deletes what I wrote, so here's a follow-up post instead.

I've owned a rescued Fila, who sadly had permanent mental issues from many early months of neglect and abuse. And my friend owns a Xolo.

And some other breeds we had as clients are Cane Corsos, Neos, Dogue de Bordeauxs, and Briards. We also saw several Belgian Malinois back in the day, before their popularity boomed.

oh yeah, I have met several anatolians (REALLY like this breed), briards, a komondor, fila, cane corso, tervs, chinese crested...though I dont think those would be really considered rare but maybe?...working at a big boarding training and grooming facility helped as well

Ooooooh I would love to see a Corso in person, the handler of the fila I saw was really good, the puppy came up and sniffed and licked my hand (I didn't do anything or say anything to it because he was obviously training and didn't want to mess anything up) the handler clicked and marked the behavior, it was obvious he was trying to really do s good job at socializing his dog.

A Berger at the park once.

I'd love to meet a Munsterlander

I've met a Klee Kai at a show, Saw a Boerbol.

I've met quite a few Cane Corsi

Known a few Dogo's as well. They're not common here either.

Boykins are from around here, but I've only met two. Same breeder as well. Both cute, but nuts.
I've also met a Xolo, (Ana Poes!) a couple Dogue de Bordeauxs. Working with an Anatolian or two, Leonbergers come to work, and Irish Wolfhounds as well.

Indy is the only Dutch I've met though,

There's a Croatian Sheepdog trialling around here now; that's the first I've met. I really like her size and coat, but the owner definitely implied that it was a quirky breed.

A friend of mine has two small munsterlanders. Then I've met a brt, briard, koolies, wire hair pointing griffons, and depending on the area I guess fcrs are rare but I know many lol.
