I agree that a monthly trick of the week would work for me! I am still fine tuning this one.

The good thing about many TrickotWs is that you can pick and choose what you want to work on, work on one or work on them all and update when you can....the threads aren't going anywhere! There's no time limit to complete them!

It's better than getting bored in the lull...

I was finally making significant strides with Bonehead...and now we're on a bit of a hiatus. We'll see if he remembers anything next month when I get back.

Yep! Exactly! The TotW's don't have an end date, I love everyone to keep working on them. And I'm not keeping them to exactly a week, I've just been waiting for posting to slow down majority on each thread and when it does I start a new one. That's why the the Perch one was so much longer than the Dead Dog one.

Also, keep in mind that it doesn't hurt to have more than one trick going at a time! Especially for things like Hug and Perch which are very physically taxing on dogs and they need to be allowed to build up strength over time.

So seriously guys, keep working on the past one! Keep revisiting these and updating, that's exactly what I was hoping everyone would do!

We took a little break, then restarted. He'll pretty consistently grab the towel instead the bat at this point.

I tried the towel without the bat, and the clip in this video is the best he did but he wasn't consistent with it so there's a fair amount of work to do yet.
