Default Help! I want to figure out what breed my puppy is...

OK,

Here's the deal. I found some people who were giving away their puppies from a litter they had. The mother was part lab, part australian sheep dog, and the father was mostly German Shepherd.

Now, my puppy, hopefully pictured below, doesn't look anything like those breeds - maybe a little Lab...

The litter was 5 males and 2 females. The females were identicle. This puppy was the runt of the litter. The rest were a little larger, and all of the boys had much darker coats.

Any of you have any idea what kind of dog this is? I was hoping for a medium sized dogs based on the breeds of the parents, but I keep getting comments about a certain kind of dog - I won't mention which so as to not sway anyone, but what are your thoughts?

My pups name is Lois Lane, by the way.

I have been able to find a ton of photos on google images that look just like her under "lab mix" "shepherd mix" and "lab shepherd mix" but evidently, most people don't know the breeds of their dog.

Thanks in advance!

Ok, well... You can't upload pictures as far as I can tell unless they are already online. So, if you think you could help me out, shoot me an e-mail to the address below and I will e-mail you back some different angled pictures.

THanks so much!

To post a picture go to www.imageshack.us and upload a picture. When it's done "copy" the last link. When you click on the reply button in this thread you'll see a little yellow square with a mountain on it, click it and "paste" your pictures link in it then click OK.

I think imageshack is better, some people like kase are having trouble with all photobucket pictures and she can't see any of them. But there are many different image hosting sites out there.

Default What kind of dog is this?

She is 12 weeks old, weighs 7.5 lbs to 8 lbs.

Her mother and father were German and Australian Shephers with some Lab... But I don't know if I see it... Do you all?

I have no idea but she is adorable I would think if she had german shepherd and lab in her she would weigh a lot more than that....
I have a supposedly shepherd/lab mix and she weighed 19 pounds at 12 weeks

Default Yeah...

That's what I would have thought too - I saw the mom of this pup and they looked a lot alike, but the Mom was a good, medium sized dog.

I don't know...

now that I look at her she does look to have some shepherd in her but 7 - 8 pounds in awfully small....but my vet said that my dog would be medium sized...and she is about 40 pounds now and she is 6 months old
