Default Vibes for Romeo?

Romeo's heading to the vet tomorrow, I'm having some concerns about his mobility lately, he seems off to me. "Just ain't right"! Laying down frequently while playing/out walking, was not wanting to stay in a sit during class this week. His gait just seems off though I can't pinpoint where he's hurting.

Vibes for I'm just worrywort or it is something simple?

Romeo tested positive for lyme, and the vet confirmed there didn't seem to be anything specific that was painful other than general ouchyness in his back end. So we are treating the lyme and hopefully that's that!

We did do some bloodwork to recheck his kidneys, and since I trust this vet more than others I have used. Little nervous about that but hopefully it is all alright.

We also discussed his eyesight, and she suggested I might want to have an ophthalmologist evaluate him (or have the PRA genetic test done). She feels that he is pretty visual in the daylight and that it's a little odd he has gone so long between being blind at night, and he is still visual during the day. She suggested that although it is probably PRA, there is a chance it could be a different retinal disease. So, we might go ahead and at least get a preliminary exam done to determine where he's at or what to expect in terms of blindness.

Lyme disease is no fun, but at least it is treatable! I hope he recovers quickly.

Best of luck with his other testing, too.

His bloodwork came back clean, his UA showed blood in his urine (though no infection). Now we get to skip back to the vet and xray for stones. Ohhh, this dog and his health. My stress levels do not appreciate this, Romeo.

Glad you figured out the lyme, it can be tricky!

A few years ago, Jackson came up completely holding his back leg up, and after 2 days, I took him in to the vet. Xrays showed nothing, then lymes test came positive. Crazy, he stopped limping within 6 hrs of meds.
