Default No use of back legs

My 10 mth old puppy is not able to use her back legs. the vet is saying it might be nerve damage but they arent sure it has been about 2 mths and they still have no clue does anyone have any info. Is there maybe something that might be going on besides nerve damage any help would be apprecitaed

I'm very sorry to hear about your pup. I just wanted to let you know that I had a dog whose back legs were paralyzed and she had a wheelchair. She got around really well and lived for many years.

Here are some links to doggy wheelchair sites, if it comes to that:

I wondered where you had gotten to, Breeze. I guess you've been pretty busy with your pup. I know you're terribly worried about Walker. Has your vet recommended that you see a specialist? Sometimes they'll even refer you to a veterinary college if there is one in your area.

Breeze, I don't have an answer but just want to say your puppy will be in our thoughts that someone can help her. Barb

2 months ago its not walker. its my pit. um if it comes to a wheel chair we will prolly just put her down because we have stairs everywhere and she not even a year so i couldnt imagine her living like that for 13 14 years. we have a vet that used to go to the u of f vet school which is an accredited vet school and he talked to them but nothing yet.

The University of Florida vet school is a good one. I hope they're able to come up with something; I know you don't want to lose any of your pups!

Did she suddenly lose her mobility, or was it something that happened gradually?
