Default I need vibes for Riff, please

We're at the e-vet. He threw up twice and then immediately after started pacing, frantically eating everything he could (in this case leaves and mouthfuls of snow), making an odd gurgling/gulping noise, and occasionally whining, which is what worried me most. In almost a year the only time I've ever heard him whine was during his torsion back in April. Even when he cut his foot down to the bone, he didn't cry.

His temperature is slightly elevated. They're taking x-rays and doing blood work now. I'm still in debt from his last surgery but I'll cross that bridge when it comes to it. Right now I'm just very worried for my little dude. Any vibes, prayers and good thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys! We're home now. Blood work came back normal although he's a little dehydrated, and the x-rays revealed a build up of gas. Unfortunately, that's what caused his torsion last time But it is not as severe. They gave him 2 injections, one for nausea and one antacid. He is still licking his lips a lot, trying to eat stuff off the ground (and seems to be licking the carpet some too) and gulping, but the vet said I just need to watch him overnight. He is also running around and being his goofy self, instead of being lethargic like in April.

Hopefully the gas goes away instead of continuing to build up. No food for him tonight, and only small amounts of water. I'm still freaked out, but he's okay right now, and the vet didn't seem too worried. This dog is going to be the death of me!

Also, he expressed his anal glands at the vet, so now he smells just great on top of everything else

Continued vibes for an uneventful recovery! That would really freak me out.

Yeah, I am totally freaked out The floor licking is obsessive now. I called the vet and they said it was odd, to put him somewhere he can't do it, and to bring him back in if things progress further, like if he starts throwing up again. I think he's licking everything to try to get something into his belly to induce vomiting. I'm in the bathroom with him now because it has the least hair he could possibly ingest. The licking is incessant though and it's driving me crazy. I have a feeling we'll be back at the vet some time tonight
