Default Brewer's Yeast?

I placed an order on Chewy.com and they added this to my order (for free, they made a mistake. I didn't order it).

Wondering if it really is good for what it says it's good for, or if it's 'bad', not worth giving, etc? I figure I've got it... for free... don't know if I should give it away, keep it, lol.

My friend gives it to her dog to help repel fleas & ticks.

That's kind of what I thought lol. Eh, I probably won't mess with it.

If it were free I'd try it lol but my dogs have had food with brewers yeast in it so I know it's not problematic for them. I probably wouldn't expect it to actually do anything, but if I had it, I'd give it.
