My dogs growing up? Yes. They wore collars all of the time. Chloe, especially, because she has touchy-feely issue and you need a safe hand hold (she is luckily not collar shy).

Cynder and Abrams? No. They wear collars when they leave the property and that's about it. (They're also microchipped. But the no-collars-unless-leaving was a rule before then.) That's just how Mike had Cynder trained, and it is weird for me to have one dog wear a collar and the other dog not, so...no collars! LOL

Eh, usually. Not crated, but most other times.

They are both chipped and I occasionally take the collars off, but I live close to a busy street and take the dogs out often. It scares me to think of them running off without visible ID.

He does -- most nights I take it off though and put it back on as we're getting dressed in the morning

Elsie no, Zobby yes; he's a door darter, unfortunately.

Elsie wears hers when she leaves the property.

When Saga was an only dog, she wore her collar all the time, except for when crated, until I got my finger stuck in the rings while sleeping, then I took it off for bedtime, too. After Nico came home, they both were nudists. Now that I ordered Nico's GDS collar, he wears that from the time he wakes up until bedtime. Usually. He also comes to work with me more often than Saga does though. Even though he is chipped, I like knowing that he has a BRIGHT "I'm not a coyote, don't shoot me!" collar on in the event that something were to happen on the commute.

Also he has small fuzzy feat and is agile like a little rabbit..

the jingling of the tags is a great way to know where he is!

I should add that Tucker is microchipped so if he did get out there is a way for him to get back to us. An ID tag isn't really of great use to him, I don't think a neighbor would be able to safely catch him.

Our dogs generally do where them 24/7. We use the collars for ID purposes and city licensing.

Jubel is collared pretty close to 24/7. Occasionally I'll take his collar off for the night. Usually that's just because I took it off for a really nice neck scratch and just decided not to put it back on till morning.

He is also microchipped.
