Default When stopping by a bake sale...

What are items you'd like to see and be able to purchase? I'm helping one of my friends organize one to fundraise for his service dog, and I'm looking for ideas.

Aside from the regular stuff, I'm wanting to make sure to include some items for the following options:
Vegan
Gluten Free
Nut Free
Paleo (? I don't know enough about paleo, so I'll get to investigating that at some point today)
Grain Free (dog treats!)

Any other ideas? Dietary needs I missed? What are your favorite pies/cookies/brownies/etc?

My random question is the 300lb man one, I can't stop giggling.

When are you planning to have it? Might want to think of seasonal things to add. Like for fall pumpkin flavor things and maple syrup stuff and leaf/pumpkin/turkey etc shapes. And according to CT's building at the Big E....CT is the home of chocolate covered bacon. HAHA!

I'm a sucker for soft baked cookies... OMG yum!!!!

And where do you plan on having it? I say this bc if you can get into some type of church craft fair a lot of times people will just buy something because of the charity aspect....whereas other places people might just walk past you(like a store).

Lactose (or milk) free.

Whenever I see a gluten-free bakery, I always look for cream horns. They never have them...

Brownies are always a big hit. I would for sure buy peanut butter brownies.

It'll be in PA. I'm hoping to plan it around some sort of charity thing, or a fair perhaps... rather than sitting outside of a store. Timing between now and November?

Also, I have pictures uploading for you!

Thanks, Four! I will add that to my list. I'll have to look up cream horns.

Something non-chocolate. There's got to be other people out there who can't have chocolate besides me.

Make sure with the nut free that it isn't on the same platter with stuff that has nuts. And, also, when it's wrapped for the sale that it's wrapped either before stuff containing nuts or hands and prep area are washed in between (Clorox wipes work great for this).

I'm old-school (aka - boring). Homemade tollhouse cookies and/or snickerdoodles! Cannot resist them...

Good luck! Hope it's a sell-out!

I'm probably the wrong person to ask, because all of the bake sale stuff I've seen recently has been on campus, so...

PUPPY CHOW.

Also, when clients bring us food in at work, we all go crazy for good breads. Amish Friendship bread, zucchini bread, banana bread, pumpkin spice bread, etc.
