Yay for the $4 script, at least. <3

The rescue I volunteered with back at my parents is trying to pull a little chocolate tri-colour beagle from a shelter that's close to where I currently live.

We found a foster but were then told that she was very reactive.

So I checked her out with my 2 today. Not even a sound from her. All tail wags.

Hopefully they take her in!!

Everyone keeps telling me now much Fred missed me when I was away. This pleases me it's nice to know he thinks so much of me lol. He's my soppy mummy's boy <3

Bodhi was happy to see me, but she's used to me coming and going now, and knows I always come home again! She's been poorly since I came home though poops, and a sore bottom and lips (wondering if she's eaten something nasty). Vets tomorrow I think.

In fact she just did such a loud fart she shot up and made me jump!!! Poor baby.

This made me LOL, I didn't even know dogs could let out audible farts ... mine never have, just really stinky, silent, death bombs.

Duncan barked at the thunder, ha ha ha. I can laugh about it because he wasn't scared, we just don't get thunder a lot so it took him a while to figure out that barking after every clap and bang wasn't going to.do anything.

It's hot outside and it's making it difficult to exercise the dogs.

I love having dogs that turn off and put themselves to bed by 9pm.
I'm not sure how Cajun ever reached that point ("turn off" was not in her vocabulary) but I'm especially glad that she did.

Also, I'm not sure how I lucked out and have 4 dogs that couldn't give a crap about thunderstorms or fireworks. I feel like every person I know has or has had a dog with some sort of phobia relating to one or both of those things. It's really nice not having to care about this time of year, and not feeling bad that we have our own stash of fireworks we'll be setting off on the 4th!
