It's clearly black magic, but after spending the week with my moms chihuahua. I want one.

Talon is officially enrolled in a training class. I keep telling myself this is a good thing and he needs to be in a controlled environment with other dogs so we can work on his focus. It's a great place that I really like, and only 4 weeks for 90mins, which works since it will be better on gas as it's an hour away. I love the instructor as well from talking to her on the phone and email, so that's good. I'll probably end up taking Rally-O or Obedience there as well since they don't offer any sports classes.

The only problem is my anxiety has skyrocketed the moment I hit the button to register for the class. Why must I be so nervous, it makes Talon anxious and I say and do idiotic things I know I shouldn't do or didn't actually mean to say and then my anxiety gets worse. Viscous cycle of anxiety begins Jan 8th. yay.

Looking through old pictures and feeling sad. They were so good together.

I am quite sick of being told that I cannot have big dogs and little dogs in the same household.

Also though I understand play biting is a natural thing in puppies and generally don't mind it...

I could have done without Jett (9wk old Chinese crested puppy) bunny hopping into my lap last night only to bite me HARD on the nipple! - little beast.

Shaman has ringworm. He's out of daycare for the next two weeks, I'm shaving the cat, and I can't stop.scratching. Fun times.

Oh no! Ringworm is the worst, and it can be a fight to get rid of it. I've had it myself 2-3 times and it took at least 6-8 weeks to totally get rid of it.

So whenever I hear my mom talk about dogs she's had in her past, they're always these awful dogs with issues who are out of control. For some reason I never really thought much of it, never put 2 and 2 together, but now seeing her with Cajun.... it all makes sense. She didn't have bad dogs. She's just completely incapable of raising a nice dog.

It's kind of a terrifying realization.

Leo's newest form of teenage rebellion is "I hear what you are saying...but lets cuddle instead!" while curling up against/on me. It is very very cute. I really have to push myself to follow through with whatever I asked

This dog's proportions confuse me.

Hank CA - (approx. 1 1/2 year old Spotty Dog)
Mia CGC - (6 1/2 year old Papillon)
Summer TG3 TIAD - (11 year old Papillon)
