Default Venice's Winter

So my laptop is very sick, coupled with me upgrading my ol' flip phone shortly after xmas (been living in the dark ages) = these all being cell phone shots.

Just wanted to share what she's been up to this winter - not much since it was -20 for a big chunk of January and February.

The first cold days were not easy.

So she got some sauna time. And still wasn't panting at 35 degrees. What.

Stayed in the sun whenever possible.

Parka'd up when it was necessary.

But didn't approve of it.

Ate ice cream at the table.

Kept me company on sick days.

Braved more snow.

Still more, but at least there was some sun. Even if it was colder than Mars.

Acted as helper/neutral dog at a class for reactivity.

Went for her first ski holiday with my family. And tried the hot tub out - photos of that are on my laptop though!

Was horrified but tolerant of our temporary houseguest - a little too tolerant if you ask me.

Discovered balancing and body awareness exercise are not easy in boots.

Tried to help when I worked from home. Did not actually help much.

Was disgusted that freeloader puppy was on her bed.

Grudgingly shared.

Liked it when snowshoers broke the trail for us. Even if my nose and her ears got frostbite when we got lost.

And now, finally, we've had a 0 degree heatwave, so she hit the dynamite boats for some rays.

And hiked in nothing but a sweater.

Hugged trees (aka finally mastered a balance/stay sequence)

And when it was 6+ degrees but still there was still two or three feet of snow, went looking for spring.

Thanks for reading!

She's adorable! She looks so cute all bundled up.

Thank you! Her fur is so thin and this winter was especially harsh. She's usually bundled up from November to March.

6 degrees last fall felt so awful and cold, but now it's like bliss!

Super cute pictures : ) I love her disdain for bedsharing with a "free loader puppy." Cracked me up!
