I never realized just how big Yarrow was!!! wow, he is a gorgeous boy.

HOw much dog Dex weigh? I keep thinking I'd like to eventually do the foot stall with Talon, but he is so heavy I feel like my legs would break lol

Thanks! And yeah, he's pretty giant. 93lbs last time I weighted him, and 29'' tall.

About that back stall.... I realized that Yarrow has never really tried getting all four feet on to a surface as small as my back. So that's what we've started doing. For now I'll keep working on the overs and maybe eventually we'll get to a back stall. And then I might die and it will be all you guys' fault!!!

Here's a video showing what we've kind of been working on/spinning around in my head. A flip off of a footstall. Now I'm not saying this is an entirely safe move, but I wanted to see just how she would land it. We did practice a bunch on an exercise ball first to teach her to jump from an unsteady surface.

Also, at the beginning there is a blooper showing why you don't have multiple foostall dogs out working at the same time.

Someone tell me this is a bad idea and I should stop doing it. I'm still debating whether I want to go ahead and continue training this, or if it's just flat out not a good idea.

So Georgie can totally do this. And it's kind of hysterical (to me.)
Video later tonight.

I asked my mom to help me and she was like "Uh so is this for exercise?" "No! It's a TRICK!" "..."

Also holy crap, push-ups with Payton on my back = ow, push-ups with Georgie on my back = it's like there's nothing even there!!

So, we are the boringest. I suppose once we get outside away from the cat tree, maybe this will be more impressive.

I can't do a foot stall - my back is all out of whack and somehow I can't like get my feet up in that position? So I abandoned that and we will do a back stall. Also good

Finkie Mom-I like that you say your back is out of whack so you have her do a back stall Cracked me up! She looks great, so adorable!

Pretty much there I think? Any ideas for making these better? (I totally lost my balance a few times here with the leg overs, but I could be going higher with those for sure). Stoked about the back overs! He's pretty springy for a big dude!

But seriously, my legs are soooo weak it's ridiculous.
I've been packing all day today, so I've not worked on it. I'm working on getting Cohen to stall on my shins at the moment. I'm finding decent success by throwing a towel over my shins and then cuing her up. I can hold the towel tight to stabilize my legs a bit, and I can use the towel as a target as I move it to my feet. My husband works tomorrow, so I'll hopefully have a chance to work on it a bit more! **** fatty big(ish) dogs.

Still feel totally weak.

Went outside and he was a bit more enthusiastic because CHICKEN. The same reason I need to get the treats out of my hand now.
