I have something like this:

But it's the small dog version. It was from Bed Bath and Beyond.

I also have a ceramic bowl I keep in my bedroom near my toybox so he can drink as he pleases throughout the night. Sometimes he chews on a bully before bed and needs some water afterward.

My guys just have a big-ish stainless steel bowl. It lives next to Meg's food dish. Conveniently close to the kitchen sink, where it is dumped, rinsed, and refilled a couple of times a day. I have a thing about water sitting out for two long. I'm like the kid in Signs. I have about 10 water glasses/bottles sitting around at any moment, because I always need a fresh one. I can't stand my water, or the dogs', sitting around.

I use these:

Got them at TSC for like 7 bucks and they hold three gallons of water and are VERY durable.

Any good brands you'd recommend?
I've been using Natural Chemistry's Dental Cleanse for the past month or so...seems to have nothing bad in it. My guys teeth seem...better, too.

Yeah if they don't empty the bowl, I usually dump and refresh a time or two anyway during the day just to keep it fresh and cold. With 4 animals drinking out of it, it's like.... blech. It has to get gross and slobbery at some point.

During the summer it's always a constant battle to keep the water clean. Someone always manages to get dirt in it. And by someone I mean Juno.

Two stainless steel bowls. One giant, one reasonably sized.

Aesop has a stainless steel bucket that clips to his crate as well, since he's a big baby if he doesn't have water in there.

We have a water tower that we refill when Shamoo knocks the empty jug over in a fit of fury.

We also have a toilet.

Omg, my dogs have this habit too. It goes flying across the room when it's empty.

Now that I have more time!

I used to have this one.

But it is horrible to clean and ended up smelling funky and then growing algae. There is no way to take the reservoir apart to clean it. I didn't want to replace it every 6 months.

Now I have this one.

And this is the one that sucks to refill. Usually I fill up a pitcher and just dump it in a few times a day rather than refill it. It opens so you can clean it though.

...I was just going to say, you have a Boxer. I'm pretty anal about dumping/refreshing the water once Harlow has drank. Mainly because of the drool-y spit-y stuff left after her big arse lips have left the water slimey.
