Found a hair spray that actually makes my hair hold curl and It's not crap your pants expensive. It's in a black and orange bottle at Sally's... Its made by beyond the zone, I think? Anyway, about six hours after curling:

Anyway, I know the white strips work really well, but I'd rather use something more natural.
I started oil pulling a couple of months ago and it has made a huge difference. Actually, I think it saved one of my molars. Wish I had before and after pictures because that tooth was solid brown, blotchy, and hurt.

After two months I noticed it wasn't hurting anymore. So I did a mouth inspection. It's no longer brown! Holy crap! It's still got some opaque white spots, but zero brown and I'm curious to see if those go away as well. I'm extremely surprised and pleased about it, as that wasn't the goal at all. lol

I'm using extra virgin coconut oil, once in the evening and once in the morning for about 20 min. each time.

Take a tablespoon of coconut oil and swish it around for 20 minutes, then spit it out. I'm doing this now and it's working wonders already! I've had four crowns over the last three years and every now and again one of them will start hurting. Well, one was getting pretty bad, then I started oil pulling for 20 minutes in the morning and evening and the pain is gone! I'm keeping an eye on some spots to see if they'll reverse and heal like I've heard others have happen.

For some reason over the last couple of years, right around my period my immune system just TANKS. So at least once a month I'm picking up some stupid random ailment despite all the preventives I do/take and I'm getting really (pardon the pun) sick of it. I work 55 hours a week, I do not have time to be getting ill!

I googled it right after I posted, and I tried it! I started with 5 mins though. Have you noticed whiter teeth? Clearer skin? Less sinus/congestion issues? I am hoping it will help me with all 3. I need to buy more coconut oil, I am almost out! I only used 1/2 tbs so I will have enough for the morning!
