Did a little experiment with my hair. last night after I got out of the shower I twisted my hair up and bobby pinned it. slept with my hair pinned up over night and this morning I took the pins out. my hair was a little wild at first but I fixed it up. I think I like it.

and a full size picture of the final result

I hate having to find new places to trust with my hair! Finding new hairdressers, doctors, etc. is one of the worst parts of moving.
What haircut are you getting when you find a hairdresser you trust?

What Beanie said.

I've also been doing a lot of searches online now that I'm paranoid about everyone actually following my advice. From what I've seen there are a fair amount of people that have been doing it for years BUT they also went through a stage of finding out the right oil. A lot of them started with EVOO and switched it around, upped or lowered the castor oil, did break out a little bit, switched it around so they were doing it more or less frequently and some added a cleanser a few times a week.

There were also a fair number of people that loved it and then broke out at the 2 week-month mark and stopped completely.

Also seems like some people got some deep cystic acne. Some stopped when they got those others figured it was a reaction to the oil and switched it around to a different one.

I need to find a new hairdresser and have literally no idea how to go about doing that. Boo.

I still want to get the haircut I tried to get last time; my hairdresser failed hardcore.

I wanted this (never mind that it's on a man, lol): http://0.tqn.com/d/mensfashion/1/0/K/w/74266396.jpg

She gave me the same haircut I'd had for the last year, which is more or less this; http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_md...k3qgo1_500.jpg

Just a layered trim with face-framing sides. Pretty much the same haircut I'd had for the last 10 years lol...just the overall length varies from mid-back to shoulder.

No. Either it's perfect instantly or it's crap!

When I rocked hair that away , I would go to a barber instead of a salon type.
Look in the phone book. it is a cute cut!

I found my awesome stylist by searching reviews online. She had the most positive reviews.

By the way Skittle, that turned out really nice! I like the end result a lot!

I found this which might be of interest to some of the people here who were saying they pretty much only wore pony tails, ways to spice it up a little bit

http://manouvellemode.com/2012/10/22...ar-a-ponytail/

I like this one

Thats how I spice up my ponies and buns. I sometimes do a braid angled across my head into it, sometimes a braid straight back center into it, sometimes multiple braids, etc. It really changes the look up and are really quick still

So I think I need to cut down even more on the Castor Oil. I woke up with random patches of dry skin all over my face.

I wonder if I can just use the Avocado oil, without the Castor Oil.

And do you think your skin goes through a detox period after starting the OCM?
