Yeah, actually, you can... I think the ChuckIt people make a floating disc too?
I would totally try it and see what happened LOL.

Even wubbas are less effective than a flappy or a bumper but it depends on what she'll jump best for.
LOL! No, I was just joking. I'm using the bumper I used in the video.

I was just saying because I can throw our disc dog discs so much better than anything that it would be nice to use that! Not much of an edge if I was a floatable disc, I would still have to learn to throw it.

@Adrianne -- Tell Dennis he could be worse... I just chucked it to the end of the pool then released lol. Bad human. We've only competed that once though... I'd like to do it again (and goodness knows Mira would...she loves it to ridiculous levels... hopefully this summer. We just don't have much of that around here.

That said I'm no help, sorry. Mira jumps just to jump. Probably could use more pop...I'm told she has a lot more to give if I teach her but... Kinda busy with other things :/

All I can hear in my own head while reading this thread is:

SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER NOW

And that Zinga better now get used to being able to not only go to a pool but visit an ocean in winter. She's going to be so upset next winter.

Hahaha, really for us it's just a for fun. We were lucky to have naturally good jumpers in a very active dock diving area so we got a great start but as far as priorities it's way down there for us.

I would love to get Backup in a few more speed retrieve competitions this summer though, he really excels there, and Sloan does well at vertical so that would be fun to see at a competition.

It's a really fun sport with a fantastic community aspect for the most part though and I do love it.

I don't know where it is but one of my favorite photos has Sloan jumping and the bumper is in the sky, like at a the sun, he's hilariously bad at throwing and doesn't give a ****. :P

I am all about that. It's not snowing but cold and pouring today. I have really naughty dogs at work and I want to go home or to a warm beach. Make it so!

I would just be happy without snow at this point. Counting down the days until I can sit at the lake with the girls!

So I found a website with a few good articles, I've been browsing them a bit and they have good suggestions. Tom, the guy that runs the site, is local. He usually shows up at the outdoor events
