Finally took the plunge!

And have a months worth of raw food in the freezer it's premade minced meat. Starting them on chicken, then chicken and tripe, chicken and liver and chicken and beef, with raw bones for teeths.

If all goes well they do lamb, duck, pheasant and other mixes, all mixed with the right proportions of meat, organ and bone.

We will still throw in a few biscuits as they will be fed them if we travel places.

Interested to see if there's any difference.

Price wise, it works out fine for us too. Space wise, we need another freezer....

That's great!!!!

I just found a local supplier of all things meat who delivers to the place we're doing agility classes now! I'm in the learning & planning stages but am excited to know there's a place to get meat.

I see you're in Wales. I was in Manchester, Wiggins and surrounding area last year on pet food related business (was still able to squeeze in a Manchester United match).
It's amazing how much low-quality commercial pet food is sold in Europe with labeling of ingredients that wouldn't go over well in North America.

For example, Wagg Complete Premium, a "Premium Complete" U.K. brand who's "aim is to produce the highest quality pet food products in the UK" has the following ingredients on their package:
Cereals (4% rice in rice disc), Meat & Animal Derivatives (5% chicken in brown chunk), Oils and Fats, Derivatives of Vegetable Origin, Vegetables (4% peas in pea kibble, 4% carrots in carrot kibble), Minerals, Yeasts (0.08%), Citrus Extract (0.04%) & Yucca Extract (0.01%).

Meat & Animal Derivatives, Derivatives of Vegetable Origin, Cereals, Oils and fats, Brown Chunk... anyone's guess what this stuff is...
