Salukis! And an Afghan or two.
Wassim and I spent the better part of Saturday with two other Salukis who were recently adopted from Qatar.
Not many pics though, sorry. My Wass-man  Can we go home yet? by chaospony, on Flickr Luna at the front and Bella behind. They are beyond adorable! Still puppies, I think they are 8 and 9 months. Or maybe 9 and 10 months. Both were strays in Qatar so those ages are guesstimated.  Pretty girls by chaospony, on Flickr Luna had her first pizzle, and loved it! Animalcracker, yes he is from the Middle East where ear cropping is common.
The same day I took the pic of my girls with their snaggles showing, their brother was captured with the exact same grin! Every puppy in the family has it. (Although my one girl is like that nearly 24/7) Also you have an Afghan hound? Pics pretty pleeeeeeeeease! It's amazing just how goofy they can be isn't it? A complete reversal from that air that they give off while walking down the street.
