Hudson got a new harness on Wednesday, but I didn't get any good pictures until yesterday. It's an EzyDog Chest Plate Harness in bright orange. It took a few tries to get it adjusted right, but so far I like it. I'm hoping that since the estimated weight is 23-42 it will last for a while. Depending on how you calculate age, he is either just over or almost 6 months and was just a hair of 30 lbs last week when I weighed him.
In other news, I have a Roadie harness that needs a new home.... I really liked the Roadie and the long nylon bit that the seat belt goes through, but since it didn't have any buckles it was more work to put on than I really wanted to put in it. This harness has a car attachment too, but it isn't permanently attached, which I think would be nice if he was running around loose without a leash attached. I have not tried this one out at night yet, but the stitching is suppose to be reflective. Hudson must also have a deep chest, it is almost as small as it goes around the neck, but about halfway on the chest area. I imagine it would be impossible to fit a real chesty breed. ![]() ![]() Not quite adjusted right yet. Here are the buckles. It fits like a step in harness, but he only has to step one leg in.
