Tell me how to glue ears?

I read Bean's owner's blog and saw pictures of Bean with his ears glued. A few friends have told me I should do it now before I regret it.

I shaved Recon's ears last night, hoping if they were lighter they would be easier to get up. Today already I've noticed a huge difference in his right ear, but I want to go ahead and glue them with breathe right strips to make sure the other gets there (or he'll be a Steve XD) but I have no idea what the process is! I googled it and read a few pages and I just don't know what to follow.. they're all different!

What has worked for you? I'd like to do this tomorrow, if possible. Anything I should avoid while they're glued? Will agility be ok or no?

I have heard of different things, only dog I've taped was a dobe with a cropped ear. And that was gauze, rolled into a 'cone' with the fat side of the cone stuffed into the ear to force the rest up and around, then taped around the outside of the ear and all the way around. The result was a nice, natural rounded ear that never got much for infections....

I read that taping is only used on cropped dogs, and that gluing is used on natural ears to get them to stand...

Apparently the answer "none if I can't get them to stand!" doesn't count for the "How many ears do dogs have" question.

Well, I think using nail glue would hurt in a way... But for your concerns, I doubt it would give you skin cancer but it might irritate your skin since it may be sensative in that area. If the bottle also doesn't mention to immidiately remove if on skin, then I guess it should be fine?

But truly in my opinion, if you're questioning the usage of nail glue to pin back your ears, you shouldn't really use it lol.
