Aquarium algae

Ok having an algae issue! What to do, my tank normally gets 15 hours of light a day with no direct sunlight. Under gravel fertilizer tabs, daily Co2 dose and weekly liquid fertilizer dose. Since my algae went out of control I cut out ALL fertilizer and Co2 and cut light down to 8 hours a day but this hasn't helped in the last 3 weeks.
I was recommended Olive nerite snails.

Definitely get some olive nerite snails. They're the best thing since sliced bread.
