About your dog(s): Obi is my heart- he is a 6 year old, permanently incorrigible boxer mix. He drives me crazy but he has a heart of gold. He is a blood donor and he has been used for education in schools and has worked at a hospice program for kids who have lost a parent.

Favorite music: eclectic. Whatever makes me happy but my car radio is always tuned to CBC radio.
Favorite book: I like memoirs. Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt is the first one that popped in to my head. But also Night by Elie Wiesel.
Favorite quote: (even though I'm agnostic)
People are often unreasonable, illogical,
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, People may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone
could destroy overnight.
If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
Random fact: I met my husband in high school on a trip to Washington DC even though he only lived 20 minutes away and my mom used to work for his grandpa.
Put up pictures of yourself and your dogs of course!!
Me (in my current state)
I talk to him when I'm lonesome like; and I'm sure he understands. When he looks at me so attentively, and gently licks my hands; then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes, but I never say naught thereat. For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes, but never a friend like that. ~W. Dayton Wedgefarth

“That which we manifest is before us; we are the creators of our own destiny. Be it through intention or ignorance, our successes and our failures have been brought on by none other than ourselves.”
— Garth Stein, The Art of Racing in the Rain.
“Being alone is not the same as being lonely. Being alone is a neutral state; it is like a blind fish at the bottom of the ocean: without eyes, and therefore without judgement. That which is around me does not affect my mood; my mood affects that which is around me. The subjective nature of loneliness, which is something that exists in the mind, not in the world, and, like a virus, is unable to survive without a willing host.”
— Garth Stein, The Art of Racing in the Rain.
“My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations.”
— John Green, The Fault in Our Stars.
