How often do you cut nails?

Shadow, Copper, and Deke get done weekly. Em gets done whenever I have someone to hold her for me, and the vets have to do Bloo's. How often do your dogs get their nails cut?

I dremel every other week, all three of my dogs. Jason cuts his dogs' nails at random, when he thinks of it LOL

Hardly ever. Stresses her out to the point where we pick our battles. Vet does them if anything.

I dremel everyone's nails every 5-7 days. Dance has always had them done that often, but I used to dremel the Dobermans every 3-4 days (their nails grow insanely fast), and their nails stayed at a length I prefered better, but it just seemed like I was constantly doing them and it was annoying. Nails are my least favourite dog chore and I never feel like doing them after work in the evenings, so eventually just had enough of doing them that often. Every 5-7 days just seems more reasonable and less chore like. And I'm thankful for Journey's slow growing nails, but even she gets them done weekly along with everyone else to keep them as short and as I can (and she's the only one who never clicks, ever, so yay!).

Gosh, not enough. And I have a dog that allows me to easily cut or dremel her nails. I just never remember to cut her nails, until she actually cuts me with them haha.

Every week usually... every 2-3wks if life gets in the way lol. Lily's nails grow freakishly fast!

I try to check the boys once a week and trim as needed. I probably actually trim them every 2 weeks. I leave them a bit longer than many people like their dogs' nails, though, for grip at the dog park and skijoring.

Maisy's a little different as she utterly panics with any kind of restraint, something I have struggled to help her overcome. I need to drug her to get her nails done, so not nearly as often as I would like to. So maybe once every 4-6 weeks. Fortunately she gets enough activity on rough surfaces to prevent that from turning into a major problem.

Wow, I suck.

Literally, they get cut when the groomer cuts them... which is, like, every 8-10 weeks.

I mean, sometimes I'll do a nail here and there, or trim the dewclaws so they don't curl over, but that's about all I can do. It's just too difficult with him and I get too stressed out. If I ever cut the quick, he would never let me touch them again, so I just pick my battles.

They're definitely too long, but they're not *insanely* unhealthily long. It's something I'm just trying to get better at and never do. The back ones don't grow fast at all and the front ones seem to get shaved down a bit from walking on pavement.

The one time he had a dental cleaning, they cut them real short while he was under, and I loved it and kept up with it for a bit.

I dremel about once a week, otherwise they get too long.
