I cannot believe this. GUESS WHAT I AM LOOKING AT RIGHT NOW.

Nikon D90 (10k actuations)
SB-600 Flash
Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens
Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

Guess how much that cost me?

$585.

FOR ALL OF IT.

My current/other D90 body cost me $500 alone.
The Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 should cost $200 used.
The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 should cost $500 used.
The Nikon SB-600 should cost $200 used.

That's a $1400 value. Those are the cheapest prices listed on ebay right now.

For $585. I bought it for that much from a guy who lives less than 2 miles away from me. And he was so thrilled to get rid of it because it was way too much camera for him (understatement - he told me he didn't know that you could zoom in/out on photos on the LCD screen, and he has never ever removed lenses from the camera body before).

I am gleefully dancing right now because that's how thrilled I am.

So now I have two D90's and also an 18-55 plus the 18-105mm, and hopefully I'll be able to resell them because I don't need two bodies.

I AM STILL SO EXCITED. Craigslist gems. Now I can finally justify those hours upon hours of "time wasting", clicking on ads for things I don't need.

Although that habit also resulted in two cats over the last three or four years... so I'm still trying to decide if it all balances out

I'm trying to sucker the people of my local Craigslist into buying the body and 18-55mm lens (since now I have the 18-105mm lens), but if it doesn't garner any interest I'll figure out a lower price for the body and let you know!!
