Yeah I meant the battery was old, & the mileage comment was that she was able to only put 30K on a car in three years. I have ha my truck for three years & it has over 130K on it, granted it is an 02, but I bought it from car max & it only had 20K on it when I bought it lol.

If this was my only mode of transportation, there would definitely be way more miles on it. Plus I live somewhere where the only time I drive more than 10 miles is a few times a year, and maybe put 50 miles on it then.

Got it in one, Coop. The battery needs some more juice. If you keep having the issue, Alex, I recommend getting a battery that's a little more heavy-duty.

Common misconception.

Most new-car warranties are 36 month/36,000 mile warranties, whichever comes first. Hers is a 2009 and is almost definitely out of warranty, as it was probably sold new in 2008. If it has a warranty left, take it to the dealer ASAP because that warranty is going to be gone soon.

Most new luxury car warranties are 5 years/50 or similar.

You're making a smart financial decision then. But yes, 2009 is old to a lot of people. There were about two people I knew who understood my decision to get rid of my 2008 for a 2004 that cost more. "Old" is relative.
