How many times a day do you feed your dog?

Usually once a day with snacks through out (peanut butter... eggs... tuna...) The pup gets fed more often though

Why would you think that one large meal is better than two? Eating smaller meals more often throughout the day enables bodies to better utilize the nutrition they are receiving. This goes for both dogs and humans.

My dogs get breakfast and supper, and sometimes they'll get a brunch stuck in there, as well. And treats throughout the day, of course.

Dogs and humans have different digestive systems that you can't really compare.

In a natural setting, a dog would eat a lot of food all in one meal and then not really look for food again until he gets hungry. The natural cycle would be about 28 hours if I remember correctly.

It's always best to feed a dog according to its individual needs though. Some can't go for long with an empty stomach and start throwing up bile, so more frequent meals are better. Others simply aren't interested in eating more often than once a day.
