Depends on the dog. I have seven cockers, but only two have the full lenght, thick coats. The rest have coats that are trimmed shorter, or are naturally shorter.

For Cocoa, .. well, she's got the longest, thickest hair..

brushing/combing-40 to 45 min (without any kind of mats)

cleaning/shaving inbetween the toe pads- 30 min (all four feet)

bathing-30 to 45 min

blow drying-25 to 30 min

brushing again-10 min(was already brushed during blow dry. This brushing is only to get her hair lying the way it needs to be for trimming)

trimming -45 to 50 min (front and back legs, feet, ears, head)

shaving-15 min (face, ears, neck, back, and belly/armpits)

nails-3 to 4 min(though, this is usually done while I am actually shaving/trimming her feet. She hates her toenails trimmed, so if I only do one nail per minute, and break it up with brushing and trimming inbetween, she'll lay still for nail trimming)

ear cleaning- 3 to 5 min

The rest of the dogs hair doesn't take as much brushing/combing, baths aren't as long, and they aren't blowdried normally(but air-dryed), so they take incredibly less time.

Shadow is a nutcase when it comes to baths....
Bath-20min-half of it is keeping her in the tub lol
Blowdrting-4 min
Brushing-10-30 min...she loves her brushing time
Nails-we do alot of cement walking-so about once a month for 10 min
Ears-2 min
Hair cut- 50 min...Now I have a question about this...my dad doesn't want me cutting shadows hair untill the leaves are out on the trees...he thinks she will get a cold..the average temperature here now is about 15 degrees celius...what do you guys think?

Never really timed it, but I usually leave about 2 hrs or so per day for grooming. She is a golden, quite the grooming chore, but anything to keep my baby pretty

Takes about 10 mins of hosing him down in the back and him running around chasing the water coming out of the hose!
Then about 10 mins of brushing per day.

Chihuahua and Jack Russell x

regular grooming 5 mins of brushing
nails (I don't know, I don't clip my dogs nails myself)
washing av 5 mins
towl dry 1 min

It only takes about 10 minutes for each dog to wash them and dry them (that includes running the bath & getting towels).

Takes me 4 hours straignt to give all 3 poodles a full grooming. That's with a lamb clip and grooming them all at the same time. They get a full grooming about every 3 weeks. If it's just brushing then it's only about 15 minutes each.

15 minutes.. to drive to the groomer
15 minutes.. to drive home

15 minutes to drive back to the groomer when she is ready
15 minutes to drive back home

LOL... I really do envy all of you, who know how to groom your own dogs, however we do have a really good groomer who I like and my dog LOVES... so it works out okay
