Trying to get ride of this baby weight so hubby and I are trying to stay away from all the yummy but bad for you foods..lol

We had a nice salad for lunch..nothing special just your normal lettuce/carrot/cucumber/tomato one.

I made a quick soup today for lunch - lemon chicken.

Basically just take some quality chicken stock/broth and add a bit of onion and garlic. Chop up some chicken breast (or cook whole and shred later) and boil in the broth. Add lemon juice and the lemon itself (I used half a lemon for a small amount/1 serving) and some thyme. Let cook all the way through, season with salt and pepper. Right before serving pull out the lemon and add several handfuls of fresh spinach. The heat will wilt it but you dont want to actually let it get slimy and overcooked

I have been ill also & have had not much of anything, except what mom & I made when I was home & I usually only had one portion of that ... Today I did have some soup for lunch tho, that's the first measurable food I have had in a while.

Tonight for dinner is a serving of homemade white chicken chili (the only cream in it is a little cream cheese)

But yes i was also ill yesterday and didn't eat much lol

Today I ate left over coconut curry, cauliflower and broccoli with cheese, some dark chocolate and a spoon of cream cheese.

And I drank lots of tea....but not enough so I'm going to make more

I have slow cooker bacon wrapped apple BBQ chicken in the crock pot. Oh the smells that I currently smell! I will take a picture when it's done, but it smells fab. In about an hour I will be putting some citrus honey glazed vegetables in the oven to serve with it. And should have tons of extra veggies for this week.

I'm starting to like this paleo thing!

Some of those things (lemon chicken soup, PW's crockpot dish) sound so YUM.

Today was a bad food day. I ate:

A cinnamon toaster strudel
About two bites of a banana
An orange
A grilled cheese (cheddar on 16 grain)
a small bit of mixed greens with oil and vinegar
A chicken parmesean cutlet
Three sausage tortellinis

Dinner. Chicken, shrimp, bell pepper, onion, and tomato fajita on an Ezekiel tortilla. A little guacamole and a little Greek yogurt. Yummo!

Lunch was a grilled chicken salad with Annie's lite gingerly dressing. Breakfast was a protein shake with 1/2 a banana and PB2, snack was 2 seasoned, poached eggs on top of 2 slices if tomato and some grapes.

All the fruit at work told me to eat it, so I got a little Very Berry sorbet and then smothered it with strawberries and pomegranate.

I just had meatballs in a tomato sauce with a salad for dinner. I'm still sick and eating sounds boring.
