New to this site. HI!

Just want to shout out to everyone. This looks like a very friendly and informative site and I look forward reading your posts. I hope I can contribute as much as I get from here.

I have a 5 year old Amstaff who will be having puppies this coming heat cycle. I got her when she was 6 months old and I was not really prepared for what I was getting into, but I absolutely love her.

Abba is my first dog and the learning curve has been challenging. I was really lucky to get her as a pet (and a show dog). She just fell into my lap thanks to a friend who was looking for a home. I never intended on getting a dog or that breed, but she turned out to be my best friend.

I can't wait until she becomes a mom... she will be a great mom too.

Terriers of any kind can be a real challenge to a first time dog owner! They are so smart and can be very willfull - downright stubborn at times, but they are so loyal and loving and have such great heart that it is an honor to have one love you. Your Terrier will never let you be bored, either. I've often explained that there is no such thing as a small Terrier - they're just compact. Inside each and every one is a Mastiff!

You're very lucky, too, Fury is a beautiful Staffordshire. You'll have real trouble parting with any of her pups!

What a beautiful dog! Staffy's are great dogs and family pets. Fury will be very demanding on you for attention - but what the time you put in with her will be well worth the effort- they are very loyal and have so much love to give back. 100 fold!
We had staffy's growing up and now have the best memories of them. At present we have an american pit - shasta - I love the bull terriers. Just make sure you are the boss though, cause they will try to take control. Regular exercise is a must to keep them happy. (I look at it as a free personal trainer - shasta will make me go for a walk even when I'm feeling lazy

hi there from a fellow amstaff fanatic! I too started off with the breed by having one given to me. she subsequently went on to whelp 13 puppies! which was both chaotic and fun at the same time. the mum (jade) unfortunately wasn,t a very good mum, i think 13 was a bit too much to handle! so we had to intervene with the pups, making sure each was fed, toileted etc., which was exhausting. But the relationship i have with the male puppy that we kept is absolutely fantastic! He is my playmate, protector, companion all rolled into one. I hope your little girl has a trouble free whelping.
