Default What mix is a Gizmo?

My grand daughter is wanting to get a Gizmo. She saw advertisement in paper and going to bring picture to show me, but just wondered if anyone knew what kind of dog this is

Sounds like one of the designer breeds that are so popular right now. What these breeders do is breed two purebred dogs together and make up a name using both breeds' names. For instance, a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix is called a Cockapoo. See what I mean?

ive NEVER heard of a gizmo...perhaps thats just the name the "breeders" have given the puppy...
be carefull when your buying mixes, an accidental litter is one thing or a rescued mutt that was already pregnant ect but if these people are breeding "desighner dogs" (mutts) please dont support them... (good way to tell is look for people charging what seems to be ridiculous amounts for a cockerpoo or a labradoodle or a pomchi ect...if there charging like $500 for mixes chances are there in it for the money...

Whats so bad about a mixed breed? It's better than keeping it all in the family.. .

There is no such thing as a mixed breed. Either they are pure bred, or they are a mutt. People should'nt try to make money by mixing breeds. Its not responsible at all.

never heard of a gizmo, but in response to 'no mixed breeds' every dog originated from something, technically everydog IS a mixed breed... but I dont agree with the current trend of puggles and labradoodles either...

theres nothing wrong with a run of the mill mutt, some of the best pets are run of the mill mutts...however there is something wrong with someone purpously breeding a mutt that you can find every day in a shelter, call it a "desighner dog" and sell it for 20 times what a shelter would ask for for the same mutt...

i LOVE mutts dont get me wrong...
but people selling them as anything other than a mutt is just trying to rip you off...a cockerpoo from a breeder is no different from that cocker down the street who got knocked up by a poodle from round the corner that jumped the fence and ended up in a shleter with her "cockerpoo" puppies for her troubles...

the poo, chi, pom, other mixes are all just mutts with a fancy name and a price tag to reflect it...i DONT agree with being ripped off by some backyard breeder just trying to make a few extra bucks off some new fad...
