Thanks for the vote of confidence, Linds.

And for what it's worth, I think we could/should have removed that personal information sooner. I can't speak for the other moderators, but I know that I would have made an edit as soon as I became aware of it. The thing is, I didn't see it. Do you know how many times that post was reported? Zero. Not a single person who saw it and clutched their chest dramatically saying, "Oh my goodness! For her own safety, that information should be removed pronto" reported that (or any) post in that thread. I dug through my emails, even in the "trash" and "spam" folders and the only reported posts we have from those dates are about spam.

The only thing I think mods should report is suicidal statements, no matter how vague they may be. We have done it on other forums with very little info.

Mods like you restore my faith to humanity. And yes, I guess it should've been reported, but the thing is, posters are expecting the mod to take actions, since its one heated thread.

Katalin's breeder is very well aware of her current situation - we spoke on a weekly basis at the beginning (early this year), which turned into monthly etc - as she is a busy lady with a life to run as well; not to say that she doesn't care about her dogs - but she has enough confidence/trust in the clients whom she lets her puppies go home with to not have to be constantly calling them up or fretting about the wellbeing of the dogs. She has always been kept up to date about the status of Katalin and is very comfortable with everything so far. Katalin is not co-owned - but as a courtesy on both sides we offer updates, resources, and help to one another as we can (the breeder and myself).

Great thanks again to Romy, Xandra and Doberluv for all their help and support with this issue and my greatest concern/anxiety throughout this ordeal: the wellbeing and safety of my dog.

Also thanks again greatly to the many kind hearted, generous, and supportive Chazzers who's messages of encouragement, affection, and good counsel have helped me tremendously.

Agreed. I know there were at least a couple of mods who were active in that thread.

Renee, I refuse to believe you're that gullible.

She does this in every thread, it's actually humorous. She is so patterned she's either a sociopath and a brilliant social scientist.

Thanks. The thing is, though, we cannot be in every thread, heated or not.

If in doubt, report it.

And it was another moderator who eventually removed the information, too, so I'm not the only one who feels that way.
