Miss a dog you don't really know all that well?
Like a neighborhood dog you occasionally spot on a walk or just around your area. I've been thinking alot about Clint lately - a elderly CAS that lives about a few blocks from me (where I used to live anyways). I haven't seen him for nearly a month now - I find myself wondering and worrying about him. I'm not very well acquainted with him, nor with his person, and we only rarely ran into each other around the neighborhood. but yet...I think of him still. Anyone else get what I mean?

Oh yes. Well....I suppose I'd have to know the dog a little bit. But I have definitely missed neighbors' dogs in the past. Some I knew very well and some just a little bit. And some dogs just become a sort of fixture....a little "person" that you get used to seeing and then they're gone....kind of sad.

Yeah, one of the neighbors had this brindle mutt that was in a small fenced in enclosure who would bark at us as whenever we walked by. He looked really sweet, it was always a happy bark with a wagging tail. He got pretty deaf and blind later in life so whenever I would walk I would stomp my feet because it made him so happy to know someone was walking by, so he could bark. I miss him.

Absolutely
![]() Look at how we feel here about dogs we've never met in person.

Yeah, my old neighbors had a couple of awesome bostons. They were really cool, fun little dogs. I miss them. And my neighbors too, they were also awesome.
