B.C. Canada?

I was looking into getting a Purebreed Maltese puppy in the future and was wondering if anyone knew of any good breeders in BC Canada, I live in the Vancouver area and have been researching the net, but dont seem to be able to find any here. If anyone could help could they please post or message me it would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

Are you looking for a pet or show dog? also i would recommend you research the breed first

Yes I have researched the breed alot, I just wanted a pet doesnt have to be show quality.

I have been on alot of websites, there are tons in the States and back East in Canada, but not many out our way. I did get one in Alberta but she said there is only one in BC but her email isnt valid anymore. Well Im going to a dogshow in March, maybe will be able to get hold of someone there. But thanks for all your help

Ok i hope you find what you want, the fact that you are looking for a pet should make your search eaiser, how about rescue?

Yes I may start looking in the rescue, I dont think there are many maltese to be rescued though, but I will look. The breeder from here emailed me back yesterday, she said most of the good breeders have retired now, she only breeds every 2 to 3 years and usually only has a couple of pups, so if they arent sold for show dogs, they are sold as pets for $2,500.00. Think that is abit rich for me, cant really afford to pay that much for a dog.
