I like fruitcake, although I rarely seek it out. I adore pumpkin pie, though.

Fruitcake is disgusting. My mom buys one every time we're down in Claxton though. Ugh.

This poll needs an additional option. I love fruitcake because it makes an amazing doorstop.

My Dad loved fruitcake so Mom always had one around. He passed away in 1988. When I was cleaning out her fridge after she passed in 2003 and there, a waaaaaaaay in the back, was a fruitcake. Not only was Mom diabetic, but I had done all her grocery shopping for the last three years of her life and I had never bought her a fruitcake. I gave it to my brother and told him it was his inheritance, a relic, "Dad's Last Fruitcake".

I hope he kept it because there's supposed to be a Zombie Apocalypse this month sometime? With the gun control laws up here in Canada he'll need something to smack the heads off the brain-sucking hordes.

Don't say it, I know I'm a little strange.

I've never tried fruitcake. We don't ever have it at family events.
