Pet gate shopping help
I am looking for a sturdy pet gate to put at the top of the stairs to keep my dogs upstairs (my parents' GSD does not get along with my dogs). It needs to be at least 40 inches tall (taller is better) but only 27.5 inches wide. I CANNOT find anything to fit an opening this narrow! Anyone have any ideas?
We tried just installing a door at the bottom of the stairs, but it was not properly installed (my brother did it) and it can be pushed open VERY easily. I also don't trust that a door I can't see is going to be closed 100% of the time. I'd be wanting a pet gate even if the door worked properly because people here have a habit of no fully closing doors.
