Default Forest Park

Last weekend we explored another place in Oregon, we had a ton of fun!

The light was really, really low. Like, 6400, 2.8, maybe 1/200, so the photos aren't fantastic and I took video instead.

Some on FB may have seen these already but I wanted to still share.

If anyone wants to help me explore this state I'll provide the place to stay, we're having so much fun already, even if it is very cold now.

My awesome boots

My dopey lemur

Wanna play find the malinois??

The video

Absolutely gorgeous!! Aren't you glad you moved?

I was really pleasantly surprised that the Thanksgiving weekend was virtually rain free, especially after the godawful weather we had earlier. Looks like everyone had fun!

I love this is how you describe the light, and that it totally actually makes perfect sense

I really really love this picture. Not least because I'm immensely curious about what Denis is doing in the background.

I'm (hopefully if I stay healthy) going to be flying into Portland in February. We have to go down to Salem-ish area for a wedding but I'm hoping we'll have at least one day of free time. I would very much like to explore some wilderness and meet your lemur (and Sloan and Moo and Arnold of course).

I know it's kind of cold and wet, but yet at the same time I also find Oregon to be very pretty. It's one state I would definitely like to visit some day. Just something about the scenery. And it helps that there are some pretty good looking dogs running through the forests! I always enjoy your pictures.

What a cool spot! I've never really known much about Oregon or visited, but it seems like it's pretty. What's the weather like? I loooveee the pic of your lemur.

So beautiful! I especially love the vastness of this photo (and of course the lemur too):

Thanks all! Taqroy, I'd love that.

It's gorgeous here, it's getting colder but its worth it, plus cute winter clothes!
