New Pearlscale Goldfish and Others

Finally got my lone goldfish a buddy . I've been hemming and hawing over various goldfish and when I saw this pearlscale today..it was just 'the one'.
Sorry for the crappy pictures, I will get some better ones when he settles in.




I also got this Dwarf Pike cichlid a few weeks ago...he is skinny, learning to eat dry foods but doesn't scarf them up yet. The picture doesn't do him justice..once again, I need to spend some time with the camera.


And I finally got a decent picture of one of my little loaches!

I had no idea goldfish could be so.. fancy! Lol They are lovely sadly, I'm not a fish person.
I would love the kind of set-up where I hired someone to feed, clean, check on and keep everything alive and healthy and all I had to do was watch them swim around lol

Fran, I think that goldfish are up there with dogs as the most mutated domestic animals we've created. lol
