Hello!
Hello. I'm new to this forum (obviously) and I was wondering how many of you are familiar with the Australian Kelpie breed. Around here it's a very rare breed. I'm having a hard time finding out more about the personality (and problems) of the breed. My dog Gwen is about a year and half old. I am obsessed with her; she is my baby. But she has her oddities and I would like to know if they're 'normal' to the breed and/or how to deal with them.
If you don't know anything about Kelpies, maybe you live in Arkansas and go to the local dog parks here? We try to take Gwen often, although we aren't going as much as we used to. We recently moved closer to the lake (which she loves) so it isn't as urgent to go to the dog park and let her get her energy out. I look forward to meeting new people and dogs to chat with! : )

She doesn't like to stand still for pictures often. I constantly take pictures of her but she's too quick for me. She always wants to be near me (in my lap) so she doesn't do well with full body shots. Here are a few of her at various times and places.
