Look at it this way, the better the school system in your town is, the higher value your house is. I hate a lot of things my tax dollars go to, but that isn't one of them.

That's quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I don't have kids either, and I pay education taxes with NO resentment because I want - no, NEED - future generations to be educated.

I loved Oregon Trail. Sometimes I would go through the game honestly trying to do well and sometimes I would go through it trying to kill off as many people in my party as possible....
