Argh just a short rant.
My bed frame fell apart the other day (about a week ago). And before anyone asks, no nothing naughty was involved. It had broken in the past and I had propped it up with textbooks and finally it gave way on the other side. It was a cheap frame I got in college. Just super cheap and flimsy. But now I've been looking online at local furniture stores to find a new bed and they just don't sell full sized beds anymore! What the heck? They're all queens, kings and then the size bigger than kings. I did not know there was a size bigger than a king! There's like... 2 options for full sized beds. I've been sleeping on my mattress in the middle of the living room floor and it SUCKS.

...they don't sell full beds? WEIRD. They do here, but maybe because lots of bedrooms won't fit a queen/king bed.
Ikea? Cheap, yeah, but at least you'll have a frame. Or look for used?

My old ikea bed frame is still going strong now. Only my sister stole it. I've thought about it but they don't have ikea stores here.
The big store here has 60+ king sized bed frames and 6 full sized bed frames. And one of those is the same as my old one so not getting that again.

Do you need a fancy frame? I just have a plain metal one that goes under the bed(the ones you can't see)... It's been around forever and still going strong. You should be able to pick one up anywhere really.

I dunno. My furniture in the bedroom is all wooden. I really would like to not spend a fortune on a new frame. But I'd like to somewhat match the other stuff. But I also don't want a cheap fake wood frame either that splits. I feel like with wood furnture you need to spend some good $$$ on it to get quality products that don't fall apart. So maybe metal would be better?

I have a full bed, it's Ikea though. As far as I know..every ikea bed frame comes in full and queen and king
I love full size! I do wish other bed places carried it more. |

Have you checked IO Metro? They do custom as well. I <3 them, it is where most our stuff comes from - well made with a decent price IMO.

Look for a local mattress company. We have two here in town. One makes mattresses, one makes some mattresses and also sells other brands. They might not have anything in stock but you could order from them... I was going to order a frame from one of them here when I thought I was getting a Queen bed but unfortunately a queen won't fit in my bedroom here, sigh.
