Nudest Colony Exploration

Last weekend, we went hiking behind my new school, with the aim of finding an old abandoned nudist colony. We were successful, and got some pictures. Zobby went on the hike as well, but like Bigfoot, he is determined to be blurry in photos, and so will not be appearing in this thread.


We started the hike as the sun was beginning to go down (which later turned out to be a mistake) and it was very pretty.


Elsie helped us find a way down this little ravine; it was a lot steeper than it looks here.

Between the photo above and below, we tromped through some bushes because we lost the trail. This became problematic when the sun went down and we wanted to go home.


I love this picture, even though it's out of focus. The light was low from here on out. Oh well.


We found it! Bonus points if you can find Elsie!


My best friend took this, and I think I'm going to get it framed.


Right at dusk, a bunch of birds started taking off from their trees next to a spring, and Elsie was determined that we have poultry for dinner. Luckily for the birds, she's better at crashing around in the bushes than actually catching anything.

We then followed what we thought was a trail but turned out to simply be a long thin area with no bushes for no **** reason which dropped us off in a mile from the colony in the middle of nowhere. We back-tracked, and then had to try to fight through the millions of bushes back to the car. Because we were hiking in sort of a U shape, we were never more than two miles from our car as the crow flies, but we were 'lost' for over an hour. I say lost--we knew where we were and where the car was, we just didn't know how to get there.

We were followed by some coyotes and a skunk.

He is, though! Like, he'll be sitting on the ground smiling, and you're like CLICK and he's like vibrating or something I don't even know.

And yeah, it is--but my school is in an area that used to be pretty isolated.

Am I the only one who opened up this thread expecting pictures of nudists and was disapointed when the only nudist was a dog? XD

I can't say I was disappointed, but I was expecting nudists... pleasantly surprised is more like it
