And then we do nosework and he falls asleep.
Haha, we talk for Tipper all the time. "HEY YOU, YOU WITH THE TREATS, I'M YELLING AT YOU. I'M RIGHT HERE. HERE. HERE. STILL HERE. PUT DELICIOUS THINGS IN MY MOUTH. IT'S EVEN OPEN ALREADY." Honestly, the really annoying thing about this - she only does it to me. The trainers at the rescue that have done shaping with her she doesn't even consider barkign at them, she just works. Brat.

I hope she's just irritable from being cooped up and not herself.

Thank you guys! Our vet appointment is at 2:30 so we can at least rule out a physical/pee problem. We'll just have to wait for the blood work.

I'm hoping so too but the real irritability started about a week before she got hurt. She's gone after Mu three times in the last two weeks and for NO reason every single time. I've spent a ridiculous number of hours dissecting the triggers for my dogs and I feel confident saying that there really was nothing there - she just turned around and chomped Mu. Who chomped back of course. This might sound awful but I almost hope there is a medical reason for this because I am not seeing anything else that would prompt it. I hate not having all the answers. Or even the right questions.

Could be she's extra snarky due to being hurt. When Lincoln got hurt this past Spring by Stryder and/or Charlie and was "off" for a few weeks afterwards. He was super clingy with me (not normal) and anytime the two would look at him or get close he'd start growling. I ended up having to separate him with the other two littles and slowly bring them back together once he was back to 100%.

So I was pretty much expecting to not get any answers out of this (horribly expensive) vet visit. But it turns out we caught the tail end of a bladder infection. Vet thinks she got the bladder infection a week and a half ago, thus beginning the snark and the antibiotics from her stabbing knocked it down some. We got more different antibiotics to start her on and we're sending out for a thyroid test because we can. So, yay for answers!
