I'm pregnant now and I am BEYOND happy about it, because I am one of those girls that has always had dreams of her own, but I've also always wanted to be a wife and a mother. This baby may not get new everything right away, or even new ANYTHING... (My Dad has said he will buy a new crib, though, and anything else I need new.) But they will be loved. Very. Very. Very much.

And then, once things work out with my boyfriend like I hope they do, it will all be okay...
And THAT is what matters. Money can come and money can leave but if the love is there you will find a way.

Just please, please use a condom until you get his faithfulness sorted out. If he's out doing stuff he shouldn't be doing, he could really hurt the baby if he gets something.

I wasn't disagreeing. . I was just explaining that it's not always just some "painless" procedure.

Oh, and remind your men that they get get vasectomies also.

When my husband got a vasectomy we had to jump through a bunch of hoops. My favorite was when we each had to individually hand-write a statement that we knew what a vasectomy was, that it was permanent, and that we were really, really, really, really sure and weren't coerced into the decision.

Good times. Although, the doctor did let me watch and we had a nice discussion about malpractice insurance companies and defensive medicine.

Michael got one like 2 months ago, due to medical reasons because he has a genetic disorder and both of his girls have it and it so sad to watch a 3 year old and almost 2 year old go through it

It sucks for me if we ever get to the point of wanting kids, since he got the laser procedure done, changes of it getting reversed is very rare. But I am sure we will thinking of something if we get to that point.

Overall, I am glad he got it done because HE wanted it. If I can stress this enough, do not MAKE your man get one. He will be simply miserable. I didn't make Michael get one. He asked my opinion and I gave it to him, which was if you want it get it, its not my choice.

You need to be sure those texts were only texts. How do you know? Without rationalizing?

Because they weren't dirty texts. Lol. Just friendly texts from a girl he met and chose to hide the friendship from me. Not sure why, maybe he does have a little crush on her or talks badly about me with her, idk. But she doesn't live in the state anymore and he only met her once. (He met her selling things on Craigslist. I suppose he hid the friendship because he knew I wouldn't approve.) She has a boyfriend and is black, and Josh has no attraction for black girls. (No offense to anyone, lol. Just his preference.)

As long as you can be sure, and you really only have to answer to yourself on this -- and your child

Condoms, used correctly, are better birth control than pills, as far as I'm concerned (because really, as people said, pills are a pain in the ass to take).

But I'm confused about the emergency BC thing. There's the morning after pill but it works only the morning after (doh).

Anyway, it doesn't seem to be the same situation at all. One clearly doesn't want kids, the other did and didn't use birth control. Apples and oranges.
Yes, that's what I was saying. I am being careful, I also said that I was happy for Barbara who has made it clear that this was planned & I respect that & will not belittle her for her choice.

I however have a right to make MY choices in my OWN life.
