Just don't keep it in direct sunlight

As long as it is canned and sealed properly, it can just go on a pantry shelf, like others have said.
The site that Dober shared is wonderful, though the web design may look a little busy. lol! Definitely worth the read. |

Be sure to boil the jars with jam how the directions say....that cooking under pressure is everything when talking about storing and keeping the jam for quite a while without spoilage. I remember making jam back when I lived in Idaho. I used my own raspberries. It was yummy. I even gave it away for extra Xmas presents. You just gave me a little incentive to make some again. I still have tons of Mason jars...just need to get some fruit or berries. It is a pretty fun project. Good luck!

A long time ago, I made freezer jam. It's really, really good. I think almost better than the kind you cook. But you must store it in the freezer so it's a little risky if the power goes out for a long time...you could lose it. But it tastes so fresh and good. And it's super easy!
