we dont use alot of prepackaged at all. We have it in the house but I hate using it and if I do its things like prebreaded chicken breasts that are raw and what not.

I voted for 4, we almost never use prepackaged stuff except tomato sauce or pasta.

I put 50/50. I eat breakfast out about 3x a week, dinner 1-2x.... and I have canned/frozen food so when I'm dead exhausted I can just heat it up and not think. The rest I make myself, with the exception of bread type products.

I cook/eat-in about 95% of the time. I go out for dinner on weekends with friends and such but otherwise monday-friday I eat in mostly.

My cooking style: Natural, super simple, whole foods, limited ingredients, easy to make lol
I often MAKE A LOT and the separate meals for the entire week.

I try not to eat processed foods. And I'm not that great of a while I do cook A LOT, it's always very very simple dishes made from scratch.

With the exception of things I can't actually create myself (like pasta or rice for instance) I make everything else: sauces, seasonings, sides etc.. from scratch.

My rule of thumb is to try to hit the grocery store/farmers market and have 90% of what I buy NOT have a nutritional label. So it's a lot of fresh fruits and veggies etc..and that means a lot of recipes on how to make a lot from whole foods.

add my veggie salad of some sort + a protein (I don't eat red meat at this point so chicken, turkey etc..) + a carb (like pasta, rice etc..) and you basically have a typical evening meal in the fran household.
and breakfast usually is yogurt (which I obviously don't make from scratch) and fruit.

It's not very fancy but it's simple and it is from scratch mostly lol

Disclaimer: I work for Trupanion and love it/our policy! But I do not speak for the company or as the company.

My version of cooking is either a) going to a restaurant-restaurant, b) buying stuff from the deli at the grocery store (salad and soup and stuff) or c) eating frozen meals.

I don't cook. At all.

It's super super easy to make your own yoghurt actually. You can order cultures and then just take out a spoonful of the yoghurt you made and use that for the next batch, etc.

I don't know what to vote. My family has the worst diet on the planet. If I'm living on my own, I cook everything from scratch pretty much. I make stuff like chicken pot pie, enchiladas/fajitas, soups, etc.

At my parents...I'll occasionally try to cook but no one effing eats it because unless it's wrapped in foil and cooked in 3 lbs of grease, they don't like it. And I don't even want to keep leftovers in their fridge because I feel like it's unsanitary with how much crap they shove in there and never clean out. So mostly, unless it's just a snack or ravioli, I just eat what they eat which is like instant mashed potatoes and frozen chicken fingers. or my mom will make "home made chicken soup" which is like a package you add water and chicken to.

I'm probably about to buy a mini fridge for my bedroom here. Hopefully then I can cook more.

I votes 4, we do most of our cooking from scratch. Like, we buy a bunch of chicken quarters when they're on sale, crockpot 'em and have lots of yummy shredded chicken and chicken stock in the freezer. We also do some canning, hopefully more now that we have a house.
