Talking vibes please....

Hi guys,

I know I'm not on here much anymore but I could really use some of those famous chaz vibes. I pretty much lost everything to Sandy. The claims guy should be here this week, and I could really use some positive energy that everything is covered and repairs can begin right away. My car and house were completely flooded. No one was hurt, all the animals are fine, and we have shelf stable food, a generator for coffee, a few flash lights, and a hot shower across town. It's mostly the flood damage, and I know insurance likes to put you through the ringer before they pay out.... And the damage is so extensive, no repairs can start without it.

((((((((HUGS))))))))) and vibes.

I've had several clients who were having to deal with insurance after a disaster -- it's . . . ugh. The insurance people learned to hate me, lol!

Thanks guys. :-) I've been popping into threads here and there when I have time, and I keep meaning to stop in more... Just seems my life goes from crazy to crazier. LOL. And Sandy is going to be one epic chapter.

I hope that since they're going to be inundated with claims, things are streamlined and people aren't difficult for the sake of being difficult. (Wishful thinking, I know). I hope things move quickly.

what will help with the insurance is that if I remember what Jeremy said right they are declaring a state of emergency which will get you insurance stuff easier (basically its harder for them to fight it and drag their feet)

And Renee, it really is the insurance that scares me. Loosing material things doesn't bother me so much bc they are replace-able. It's dealing with insurance to replace them... And it's not just a tv or a couch... It's everything. My upstairs is ok, but everything else is completely ruined.
