Default Disc dog people

Fleetwood LOVES Frisbee, and I would LOVE to learn more about disc dog. I can't find any clubs or training facilities around here that teach or compete or anything, and I just don't know where to start. There is a guy about an hour from me that competes, but I would rather not go see him.....

So are there any online resources out there to help me learn at home? Or does anybody happen to know of any good clubs or trainers near the Detroit or Northern Toledo area?

I posted this link on the disc dog thread, so here it is again! Pawsitive Vybe is absolutely fabulous with youtube videos on everything from foundation work, disc throws and more advanced tricks. Their youtube channel has everything nicely organized into playlists as well, so you can spend hours watching videos rather than searching for them!

Georgia Irish is another great youtube channel, he has some awesome drills and throw tutorials.

Hope that helps!

ETA: I posted on my club's facebook asking if anyone knows of clubs/trainers in your area. Hopefully someone does!

You can check on the Midwest Disc Dog facebook page, they are closer to that area.

Otherwise, someone mentioned the Disc Dogs of Michigan.

Thank you! Disc dogs of Michigan is just too far to travel regularly. If they offer some kind of one day workshop, that would be worth it though. I'll check out the resources that you gave me!
