Victorian Bulldogs
Does anyone have any info on them? Saw a pic the other day, it was gorgeous! Are they a recognised breed?

Nice looking dogs. And, from the description, a good example of a determined, methodical and very knowledgeable effort to return a breed to its former vigor.

Ah, so from that site, they are VBS, VBF, APRI recognised but not KC...so does that mean it would be more difficult to find a quality dog? There were some pups advertised in the Exchange & Mart but that's the only ones I've seen.

Interesting, I've never heard of the breed. My daughter would love any type of bulldog. She's been wanting one for a while.
I love the description part "Some snore very loudly, and some have drool and slobber tendencies" LOL what dog doesn't possess these qualities? hehehe Heck, my hubby does that!

I would contact the Victorian Bulldog Society or Registry, or even better yet, try to contact the originating breeders. I wouldn't contact the American Pet Registry, however.

Fraid not I'm in sunny England! Cheers anyway though. It's not too important at the moment, I've got two young dogs to deal with for now! Just out of interest really.
