I took 3 different pregnancy tests today, all came back faintly, but clearly visible, positive.

Oh, the feelings.

Good feelings? Because I want to be all YAY CONGRATS but I don't want to step on any feelings.

So I'll just say very quiet congratulations and offer ((((hugs)))).

Ha, thanks! Well, it's still so early, I'm trying not to feel anything... But it's just like a bazillion of butterflies in my belly. We've seen a specialist awhile ago because we were actively trying, and I was told that with my pcos it would be unlikely for me to get pregnant. We didn't really take any major steps with help in that department, because I just felt overwhelmed and scared to try and try and not get anywhere. But I've had to take some meds for hormonal stuff and then my period didn't show... And here I am. I took another test this morning and the line is a lot more defined and darker than on the weekend.

If it would all work out, I think I'd get more excited than I think I could be. We've been married for almost 9 years... have this spare room in our house, my husband adores children, it would be good.

Congrats, Jules. first thing in the morning is the best time to take the test

I'll join in with the quiet congratulations and lots of good vibes for a healthy pregnancy.

It's scary! I know when we were trying and I was so disappointed by the negatives each month when the positive finally showed up I was just sort of shell shocked (and terrified, very terrified). I'm sending all the good vibes I can muster that this works out for you guys.

Interestingly, there are a lot of PCOS women on my parenting forum that were told they couldn't/would have a hard time getting pregnant that just...got pregnant. It's weird that for how advanced medicine is they still get so much reproductive stuff wrong.

Congrats, Jules! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

It was so strange when I saw the two lines on my test. We had been NTNP since we got married, but we were actively trying for 4 months and I was so scared that I wasn't going to be able to get pregnant. Before getting married, I had always assumed that it would just take one time of unprotected sex to get pregnant, haha. It's amazing how sometimes it just has to be timed just right.

Thank you guys! So, the first blood test confirmed that I'm pregnant.. I'll have to go back tomorrow to see if all moves along as it is supposed to. I just so on edge, thinking that it won't last/stick.

I know, Jessie, it's amazing how much effort is needed to go into this. "Honey, put a note in your calendar, sex at 5 pm tomorrow!"
